The voice control here covers the basics well — on, off, brightness, a handful of colors — but the real depth lives in the Govee Home app, where the DIY gradients, 64 preset scenes, and music sync actually happen. Worth setting expectations right: Alexa and Google Assistant handle quick commands, not full scene-switching, so the app is where you'll spend the setup time. 150 LEDs across 16.4ft gives even coverage rather than visible gaps or hot spots.

Styling tip
Closes out our Movie Night lineup — run it behind the TV or along a media shelf and sync it to the Soundcore Boom 2's audio for a bias-lighting effect that actually reacts to what's playing, not just a static color. Clean and dry the wall surface thoroughly before sticking it down; the adhesive backing is the one part of this setup that's unforgiving of dust or oils left on the wall.
